How do I review a copied message?
Mark a message as reviewed, flag a concern, or approve and archive it.
Message copies waiting for review are under the Unreviewed tab in Messages. The red number on Messages in the menu shows how many are waiting.
- Open Messages.
- Press the Unreviewed tab.
- Press the eye button on a row for a quick look, or open the message to see the conversation before it.
- Choose what to do.
Your choices
- Mark Reviewed (or Review in the list): you have read it and there is no concern. In the quick view you can add Review Notes first.
- Flag: you have a concern. Choose a Severity (Info, Warning, Concern or Urgent) and describe the concern in Flag Reason. A reason is required.
- Approve & Archive: on the message page, this saves a permanent, read-only copy of the record in the Review Archive. You can add Decision Notes. Once archived, the record cannot be changed.
Tabs
- Unreviewed: waiting for a broker
- Urgent: flagged messages nobody has reviewed yet. Check these first.
- Flagged: messages a broker has flagged
- Reviewed: messages already reviewed
- All: everything
When the sender edits a message
If the sender changes a message after it was copied, the copy is updated with the new wording. It goes back to Unreviewed, even if someone had already reviewed or archived it, so a broker reads the new version. Any archive record already made stays as it was. A flag on the copy stays in place.
After you flag a message
Flagging records your concern. It does not stop the member or warn anyone by itself. Decide what else is needed. You might place the member under monitoring, turn off their messaging, or contact your safeguarding lead.
