Using the Review Archive

The Review Archive keeps permanent, read-only records of message reviews.

The Review Archive keeps a permanent record of message copies that a broker approved and archived. Records here cannot be edited.

Finding a record

  • Use the tabs: All, Approved or Flagged.
  • Type in Search archive... to search.

Each row shows the sender, receiver, listing, Copy Reason, Decision, who decided and when.

Opening a record

Press a row to open it. You see:

  • Target Message: the message that was copied
  • Decision: what was decided, by whom, and any Decision Notes
  • Conversation Snapshot: the messages between the two members, saved at the moment the record was archived

A note at the top reminds you the record is preserved exactly as it was reviewed.

If the sender later edits the message, the archive record does not change. The updated copy goes back to Unreviewed in Messages for a new review.

Why it matters

The archive shows what your community knew and when it acted. It can support a safeguarding investigation. It also shows that reviews happened.

Records in the archive are kept. Message copies in Messages are different: once reviewed, unflagged copies are deleted after the number of days in Archive retention (days) in Configuration. Flagged copies are kept longer.
This is done on the main website. The accessible site does not have this page.
