Suspending, banning or reactivating a member
Stop someone using your community for a while or for good, and let them back in later.
You can stop a member using your community. Suspending is for a pause. Banning is for more serious cases.
Suspending
- Open Users and find the member.
- Press the three-dot button on their row.
- Press Suspend and confirm.
The member cannot sign in until you reactivate them. They are sent an email to say their account is suspended.
To suspend several people, tick their boxes and press Suspend in the bar that appears. You are asked for a Reason.
Banning
Press Ban in the same menu and confirm. The member loses access to the platform and is sent an email. Only admins can ban. Brokers can suspend but not ban.
Letting someone back in
Open the Suspended or Banned tab, press the three-dot button and press Reactivate. They are sent an email and can sign in again.
