Managing members
Handling a member's request about their data
Record and deal with requests to see, move or delete a member's personal data.
Members can ask what data you hold about them, ask for a copy, or ask you to delete it. You track these requests on the GDPR Requests page.
- Open Enterprise in the admin menu and press GDPR Dashboard.
- Open the list of requests. Each one shows its Type, Status and Deadline.
- Press View details on a request.
Working on a request
- Assign: give the request to a member of your team.
- Start processing: show that work has begun.
- Add note: record what you have done.
- Generate export: create a copy of the member's data. You see Export available when it is ready.
- Mark complete: finish the request.
- Reject: refuse the request. You must give a reason.
If someone asks you by email or phone, press Create request to record it here.
Marking a deletion request complete erases the member's account and personal data. This cannot be undone. Check you have the right person first.
Keep an eye on the Deadline. The page warns you when a request is overdue.
This is done on the main website. The accessible site does not have this page.
