Deleting a member's account

Permanently erase a member and their personal data. This cannot be undone.

Deleting an account permanently erases the member and their personal data. It cannot be undone.

  1. Open Users and find the member.
  2. Press the three-dot button on their row.
  3. Press Delete.
  4. Read the warning and confirm.

The member is sent an email to say their account has been deleted. The deletion is recorded in your activity records.

Before you delete

  • If you only want to stop someone for now, use Suspend instead. You can undo a suspension.
  • If the member asked for their data to be deleted, you can also handle it as a data request. See "Handling a member's request about their data".

Who can delete

Only admins can delete accounts. You cannot delete your own account from here, and you cannot delete another admin.

Deleting cannot be reversed. If you are not sure, suspend the account first and decide later.
This is done on the main website. The accessible site does not have this page.
