Hiding or deleting feed posts
Remove posts and other items from the community feed.
Feed Posts lists everything in your community's feed: posts, listings, events, polls and more.
Finding an item
- Type in Search Posts or Users... to search by words or by the author's name.
- Use Post Type to show one kind of item. Press Apply, or Clear to reset.
Each row shows the author, the content, the type, whether it is Visible or Hidden, and when it was created.
Hiding an item
Press Hide, then Hide Post to confirm. Members can no longer see it in the feed. The author gets a notification that their post was hidden. There is no button to show it again, so be sure first.
Deleting an item
Press Delete, then Delete Post to confirm. There is no button to undo this. The item leaves the feed, and its likes and comments are deleted for good. The site keeps a record of a deleted post, but nobody can see it.
The author gets a notification and an email. The email says their post was removed because it broke the community's standards. It offers a link to contact support if they think it was a mistake. It does not include a reason from you, so tell the author yourself if they need to know more.
For a listing or an event, Delete removes it from the feed only. The listing or event itself stays.
