Moderating content
Using the Content Queue
Posts that look like spam are held back for review. Approve them or reject them with a reason.
The Content Queue holds content that is waiting for a moderator before members can see it.
What arrives here
- Posts that look like spam. The site hides a post automatically if it looks like spam, for example very long links or lots of capital letters. These posts arrive with the status Flagged.
- Events waiting for review. If your community reviews new events, they wait here. An admin must approve events.
The list shows pending items when it opens. To see flagged posts, change the status filter at the top of the list to flagged.
Reviewing a post
- Read the item in the list.
- Press the approve button if it is fine. The post becomes visible to members.
- Press the reject button if it breaks the rules. Type a Rejection Reason and press Reject Content. The post stays hidden.
The counters at the top show how many items are Pending Review, Flagged, Approved and Rejected. Press Refresh to update the list.
You cannot review content you wrote yourself. Another broker or an admin must do it.
This is done on the main website. The accessible site does not have this page.
