What is the Match Approvals page?
Match Approvals holds suggested matches that a broker must check before either member is told about them.
Match Approvals holds suggested matches between a member and a listing that need a broker's check first. Neither member is told about the match until a broker approves it.
Which matches come here
A match comes here when either member:
- chose a safeguarding option with Require coordinator approval or Restrict matching, or
- is under monitoring.
All other matches are shown to members straight away. When nothing is waiting, the page shows No matches waiting.
Brokers, coordinators and admins get a notification when a match arrives. For one member, at most five new matches are sent at a time. The rest follow later.
Approving or rejecting
- If you approve, both members are told. The member sees the listing among their matches, and the listing's owner is told who may get in touch.
- If you reject, you must give a reason. Neither member is told, because neither of them ever saw the match. The same match is not sent again.
Your decision and your name are recorded.
The page itself
The page has the tabs Pending, Approved, Rejected and All, and counters such as Pending Review. You cannot act on a match you are part of.
