Getting started as an admin

What does the admin dashboard show?

The first page of the admin panel gives a quick picture of your community and anything waiting for you.

When you open the admin panel, you land on the dashboard. It is called Mission Control and gives you a quick picture of your community.

Numbers at the top

You see figures such as Total Members, Active Listings, Transactions and Hours Exchanged. A second row shows New Users This Month, Active Users, Total Listings and New Listings This Month. Press Refresh to update them.

Things waiting for you

When something needs your attention, a card appears with a Review button. For example:

  • Members awaiting approval: people who have signed up and are waiting to be let in.
  • Listings awaiting moderation: new listings held back for checking.
  • Volunteering organizations awaiting approval: only if your community uses volunteering.

Quick actions

The Quick Actions card has shortcuts such as Manage Users, View Listings, New Blog Post and Settings. If your community uses newsletters, you also see Send Newsletter.

Charts and activity

Transaction Trends shows how many hours changed hands each month. Real-time Activity lists the latest things that happened in your community.

If you see a red card titled Safeguarding step is OFF in your onboarding wizard, read the Safeguarding section of this guide before you press its button.
This is done on the main website. The accessible site does not have this page.
