Suspending or reactivating a member
Suspending stops a member signing in. You can reactivate them later.
Suspending a member stops them signing in and taking part. It is reversible.
Suspending
- Open Members and find the member.
- Press the three-dot menu on their row and choose Suspend.
- Read the message and press Suspend to confirm.
The member gets a notification. Write a note on their record explaining why, so other brokers understand.
Suspending several members
Tick the box next to each person and press Suspend selected.
Reactivating
- Press the Suspended tab.
- Press the three-dot menu on the member's row and choose Reactivate.
The member can sign in again and is told their account is active. Press Reactivate only once: each press sends them another message.
Limits
- You can only suspend and reactivate ordinary members. You cannot change another broker's or an admin's account.
- If an admin banned a member, only an admin can reactivate them.
Suspension is a serious step. For a safeguarding concern, follow your community's safeguarding process first. You may only need to turn off the member's messaging, which you can do from User Monitoring.
This is done on the main website. The accessible site does not have this page.
