Asking to correct or limit the use of your data

Send a request to correct your data, limit how it is used, or object to it being used.

You have rights over your personal data. As well as downloading it, you can send your community a request. Open Settings, choose the Privacy tab and find Data & Privacy Rights.

• Data Rectification: ask for information about you to be corrected, if it is wrong or incomplete.
• Restriction of Processing: ask for your data to be stored, but not actively used.
• Right to Object: object to your data being used for a particular purpose, such as marketing.

Sending a request

1. Press the request you want to make.
2. Read the explanation. It tells you how long a response can take.
3. Press Submit Request.

A confirmation email is sent to your email address.

You can correct most of your details yourself, straight away, on the Profile tab in Settings. A request is useful for things you cannot change yourself.
