Changing your cookie choices

Choose whether to allow optional cookies, and change your choice at any time.

Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser. When you first visit, you see a message called We use cookies. You can press:

• Accept all to allow all cookies
• Essential only to allow only the cookies the site needs to work
• Manage preferences to choose for yourself

The types of cookie

• Essential: needed for signing in, security and reporting faults. These are Always on.
• Analytics: help the community understand how the site is used, such as usage statistics, page timings and recordings of how pages are used. These are optional.
• Preferences: remember your choices, such as theme and language. These are optional.

Change your choice later

• On a computer, press Cookie Settings at the bottom of any page.
• On a phone, press Menu, open Legal, and press Manage preferences.

Make your choices, then press Save preferences.
