Coordinator arrangement needed
What to do when you cannot message a member directly because of safeguarding settings.
Sometimes you cannot message a member directly. A red box appears at the top of the conversation, and you cannot send messages there.
Coordinator arrangement needed
This member's safeguarding preferences say contact must be arranged by a coordinator. It is not a judgement about you.
- Press Request coordinator help.
- A note confirms the coordinator has been told.
- A broker, administrator or coordinator will contact you to help arrange things.
Community confirmation needed
Your community needs to confirm a safety check (sometimes called vetting) before you can contact some members. Press Request review of my vetting to ask a broker to look at your record. Do not send certificates or criminal-record details through messages.
You can contact coordinators and vetted members
If you told your community you consider yourself a vulnerable adult, you can contact coordinators and members whose vetting your community has recorded. This is to keep you safe. Ask a coordinator if you would like help getting in touch with someone else.
Safeguarding check temporarily unavailable
The safety rules could not be checked at the moment, so messaging is paused. Wait a little and press Check again. If it keeps happening, ask a coordinator.
