How do I vote in a poll?

Find open polls, cast your vote and see the results when a poll closes.

You find your community's polls on the Polls page.

Find a poll

Use the tabs at the top:

• Open shows polls you can still vote in
• Closed shows polls that have finished
• My Polls shows polls you created

Use the category list to narrow the polls by subject, or choose All Categories. Each open poll shows how much time is left to vote.

Vote in a normal poll

Press the option you want. Your vote is saved straight away.

You can only vote once in each poll, and you cannot change your vote. Take a moment before you choose.

Vote in a ranked poll

A poll marked Ranked asks you to put the options in order.

1. Press Rank Your Preferences.
2. Use the up and down arrows to put your favourite at the top.
3. Press Submit Rankings.

Results

The number of votes is always shown. The result for each option is hidden until the poll closes, so early votes do not sway anyone. Open the Closed tab to see results.

A poll marked Anonymous does not show who voted. You can also like, comment on and share polls.
