Notifications
Getting notifications on your phone or computer
Turn on push notifications to get alerts on your device, even when the site is not open.
Push notifications are alerts that pop up on your phone or computer, like a text message alert. They can arrive even when the site is not open.
Turn them on
- On the device where you want alerts, open Settings and choose the Notifications tab.
- Under Push Notifications, turn on Enable Push Notifications.
- When your browser asks, allow notifications for this site.
When it has worked, you see You are subscribed on this device. Repeat this on each device you use.
If it does not work
- If you see You have blocked notifications, your browser is set to block them for this site. Change the notification permission for this site in your browser settings, then try again.
- If you see Your browser does not support push notifications, try a different browser, or add the site to your home screen. See Can I use it on my phone?
In the Android app
The Android app can send you notifications even when it is closed. Allow notifications when the app asks. See Get the app.
Turning them off
Turn off Enable Push Notifications. You can also block notifications for the site in your browser or phone settings.
