Your matches and suggestions
See listings, groups, volunteering and events that may suit you, based on your listings and profile.
The Matches page suggests listings, groups, volunteering opportunities and events that may suit you.
- Open Matches.
- Use the tabs to show All matches or one kind: Listings, Group or Volunteering. A tab only appears when you have matches of that kind.
- Turn on Mutual matches only to see matches that work both ways: they want what you offer, and offer what you need.
Each card shows a match score and the main reasons. Some cards show Why this score? with more detail. Some include an explanation written by AI, which is labelled. Treat scores and explanations as a guide only.
Press a card to open the listing, group, opportunity or event. On a card you can also:
- press Message to write to the member who posted a listing;
- press Save match to keep a listing match;
- press Not interested and choose a reason, so you see fewer matches like it;
- press Join on a group match.
Event matches
Event matches are upcoming events that you have not replied to yet. They are shown under All, marked Event. Open the event to see the details and say if you are going.
Getting better matches
Listing matches are based on your own listings. If you have none, the page asks you to Create a listing. Group, volunteering and event matches also use the categories of your listings and the skills and bio on your profile. Adding a location to your profile helps with distance.
